Henry BURCH, d. 1816, Person Co. NC
I just received a copy of the will and estate of the particular Henry BURCH who diedi n Person Co NC in 1816.
He was married but wife is not named in his will.He leaves estate to children of his sister Susannah JONES and I would like to know who Susannah was married to.The children named are: Church Well JONES, William JONES and Stephen JONES. A man named James JONES signed the will. It says something next to his name whcih may be "mark". So perhaps he was husband of Susannah.
This Henry BURCH is listed in Caswell Co NC with Benjamin SUIT in the estate of a Thomas Langley in 1803.I think this Henry Burch was somehow connected to Henry BURCH and his wife, Susannah SUIT, of Charles and St. Mary's Co MD/Charles co MD who went West to KY. But many of the Burch names in his estate (none are mentioned in his will and apparently he had no living issue.) are not the ones listed as being children of Henry Burch who went to KY.
In the estate we see Bay lor BURCH, (as written), Richard Burch, George Burch Mary Burch, Edmond E. Burch
Here is my transcription of Henry Burch's will (only for non-commercial use-c.2009)
