James M Nickel/Nickle,Nichols b:1797 KY/VA m:Burch moved Indiana 1830-44

The James im looking for is James Mills Nickel. He used MD on a census. But also used James H on his wedding with Hannah Burch. Translation could be wrong on the person that transcribed it and it should of been an M. He says he was born in Kentucky in 1797. And his father was from Pennsylvania and mother was from Virhinia. He was traveling with a Robert Nickle in 1830-40. But no one seems to have a james being born as the first child. Every census from 1830 and on he moved with the Nickell family. No one seems to have him as a child.

My family line go to James M D Nickell 1797 Kentucky. He married Hannah Burch in 1825 in Bath Co, Kentucky. They moved to Trenton, Henry Co, Iowa and later on to Mt Pleasant, Iowa. I can not find anything on his parents. He may even been born in Montgomery Co, Kentucky.
