Lemuel P. Burnham (1815-1861) Glocester, RI

Looking for info on my 4th great grandfather Lemuel P Burnham who married Almira Keach. They are buried in Acotes Hill Cemetery in Chepachet, Glocester, RI but may have connections to Putnam, Windham Co, CT. Lem is listed in the 1860 census as a "resident" of the Windham Co jail so I'm guessing he spent some time at least drinking in the Putnam area. I have lots of info going forward but no parents for Lemuel as of yet. Any help woud be appreciated.
