I was able to find the maiden name of Ebenezer’s wife from the death record of their daughter Susie.

I also did find a marriage record for Ebenezer Burnham and Susan Y.However it doesn’t give much information.Interestingly, it gives Susan’s maiden name as Burnham also but doesn’t list parents.
They were married in Gloucester, Essex, Mass on April 29, 1832.
I can’t find any connection to Nova Scotia however – this may be an anecdote about a sibling or something.There were certainly very close ties between NS and Mass.Most families in NS had some relative who lived in the New England states and vice versa.
