Re: Burrell families in Durham

My grandmother was Alice Burrell, she was born at Station Town, Wingate in 1887. Her father was John Burrell & her mother was Catherine Lazzari. John had a brother named Mathew & he was living at Wingate at the time of the 1881 census. Alice married James Ray in South Shields in 1905. Any connection? I live in Whitburn near Sunderland if you need any help I am willing to do any research.
