Long Illness Is Fatal to Mother of Breck Pair
Mrs. MAUDE ALMA BURROWS, 78, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. M. REED, 606 West Hullum St., following a long illness. Mrs. Burrows was a native Texan, born at Wills Point, Oct. 3, 1871, but had spent much of her life at Ardmore, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at the Harvey Chapel in Ardmore, Rev. JOE D. RAY of Graham, Okla., officiating. Burial will beside her husband who preceded her in death Jan. 26, 1947. Pallbearers: A. B. JOLLEY, AUSTIN EVERETT, BOB CANNON, E. C. WYMORE, JACK SPEAKE and CLAYTON CUDE.
Mrs. Burrows is survived by another daughter, Mrs. W. M. COX of Breckenridge; and three sons, HOMER of Graham, Okla., and R. L. and B. L. BURROWS of Roswell, New Mexico, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters: A. A. SULLIVAN of Fort Worth, S. A. SULLIVAN of Dallas, and WILL SULLIVAN of Los Angeles, Mrs. ESSIE GRACEY of Arlington, Mrs. NAT CRAWFORD of Grand Saline, and Mrs. J. F. BENNETT of Ardmore.
