Byrn, James and Elizabeth his wife and William Connell(planter) conveyed on 27 April 1714, a parcel of land formerly conveyed from Eleanor Obryan, dec'd to Mary Connell, mother of William Connell and Elizabeth Bryn; two tracts: Freshes nr. head of Mattawoman Creek cont. 300 acres; also Cloahammond cont. 200 acres. Bourn, James (planter) and Elizabeth his wife (eldest dau. of Dennis Connell, late of Chas. Co., dec'd) of Stafford Co., Virginia.Deed of gift dated 5 Feb 1721/2 to George Mason, of Stafford Co., two tracts; one called Fernes on s. side of Mattawoman, cont. 300 acres, and a tract nr. the head of Mattawoman Creek, alled Nowland (Howland), 200 acres.
