(3) WILLIAM GIBSON FREW, born March 5, 1833 in Pennsylvania
William was living in Salem County, Tuscarawas Co., Ohio in 1850. I have not traced him as yet.
I would like to confirm that Andrew and Robert were brothers even though I find that their last name was spelled in several different ways during their lifetime.
I would also like to confirm that Thomas Frew was a relative on My SHAW FREW. The mother of Shaw was Ann/Anna/M. Anna/M. Ann/ (referred through census records and church records.Since Shaw's first daughter was Mary Ann Frew, this may also have been the name of his mother. In church records at the time of her death she is referred to as a widow.I have been unable to find any mention of a husband's name and he was not on the ship when Ann Frew, Shaw and his wife Eleanor along with their first two children (David and James (my ggrandfather) and Elizabeth, who I believe to be the sister of Shaw Frew arrived on these shores in 1833.
Let me hear from you.I hope you can fit into this line somewhere. Most of the information was from the US Census
and a relative that I contacted me several years ago.
