I am going to take a wild stab at this. If Cass County is correct, and the time frame is circa 1840-civil war, it was one of the order #11 counties affected. There is a "ghost town" there, Amarugia. while growing up in garden city, my mother was good friends with katherine Kenagy and she spoke often of Amarugia and the environs. It is now known as Amarugia heights. I believe there is a cemetery there or two, though I have not been there in years(since I was perhaps 20--more than thirty years ago). I wonder if this rezin(I also was looking for a resin in the family lineage but a century earlier--to no avail) if rezin lived in this area of Cass co?
Do you know if there is a calvert among those you seek that died in the area? The townships besides amar. would be Archie, Drexel, Garden City and so on.
I don't know if I just added more questions or not but this is sort of home territory for me.
