Good Morning Jim, Very good write. Where do you descend from? I, State side, descend from: George Calvert, Lord Baltimore #1, Leonard Calvert, Governor Of Maryland, William Calvert, George Calvert III, George Calvert IV, William Calvert, John Calvert 1747, John Calvert February 22, 1765/66, John Calvert, Jr. August 26, 1797, toEsther Jane Calvert.
I have mounds of History on the Calvert Family some in my computer and more to log.
Calverts are a good read. I have the same info you do so I but my info shows that when Charles father, Cecilius (Cecil) Calvert, Lord Baltimore #2, died Charles succeeded to the proprietorship of the province, and becameLord Baltimore #3. Charles Calvert died on February 21, 1715. Charles lacked vision essential to success, he continued to fight for territorial rights until his death.Charles and Jane Calvert's son, Benedict Leonard Calvert succeeded to the title of Lord Baltimore #4 upon his father's death.Benedict Leonard Calvert died on April 16, 1715.Upon his death, his son, Charles Calvert succeeded to the title of Lord Baltimore #5. There is a lot of information between the lines, in my information, but like all research and history one is never sure what is really the truth. Does my information follow along what you have? I would love to know. Gail
