We have been researching this family and have come to a dead end with Joseph's birth.Do you have documentation on Grandpa Joseph (b. 1841) having been born in Mississippi?Most, it seens, have been looking mainly in East Tennessee only!

Also, there is a book called "Our Calvert Kin" by Dewel Lott. Thought you might be interested.
