More specifically, I am trying to locate his father/mother.Stephen was born in Illinois or Tennessee.Married Sarah B Jones in TN.He was a teacher or attorney in Giles County before seeming to move to Texas and the possibly back to TN before his death.I have come across one claim for him to be buried in TX but found his grave in TN.The majority of his children ended up in TX.
