We know that our Hiram CALVERT was in Strabane in Co Tyrone Ireland in 1858.
My Great Aunt Vera said he was buried in PA.(I suspect near Pittsburgh). He had a wife named Sarah who produced his first son William John CALVERT baptised at camus in Strabane on 11th Sept 1845.
Hiram appears to have had a second wife (though researchers have advised that it was not unusual for Irish women to change their forname at that time) called Mary.Mary produced Thomas CALVERT - baptised at Camus on 15th May 1854, and My Great Grandfather Hugh CALVERT born 1856 we think in Strabane.
Does this fit in with anybody else's research? Jim Williams
