Re: 1750 Will of Gilbert Campbell & his fam.

Hello Kathy and Carolyn,
I am very interested in your findings on Gilbert Campbell's children. I'm pretty sure I am related to Sarah Campbell, who is listed in Gilbert's will of 1750.
My reasoning for this is that in the will of my 3rd great grandfather, Robert Simpson, who died 1782 in Campbell Co., VA;his wife is listed as Sarah and with her on the probate and an executor is James Campbell. This and other little bits of information make me think that these two (Sarah and James are the children of Gilbert Campbell). Isn't this James Campbell the one who married Lettice Taylor? One other James Campbell later married Jane Mearns or Means.
