I haven't gotten that far. Some of the early land records are just not that helpful...but I hope to dig into them when I go to Richmond VA in March and plan to hit the State Library for at least a day. I keep trying to fill out the siblings and downline families, along with watching the connections with other families....keep hoping something will be the clue to open it up.Are you a member of the Campbell Clan...they have a good genealogist and she gave me quite a bit of help....I will see if I can post some of it for explanation.the data I posted about the other James Campbell came from her research.
