John Cannon/Canon who migrated 1622 From England
He was servant of Christopher Woodward un West & Sherley Hundred Co, Va which was near or part of Henrico. Birthdate believed to be 1602-1604 and he was around age 20 on ship Abigaile.
I am thinking he is the father of the John Cannon who married Esther Pledge.
John Samuel Kennon b. 1623-25 son of Richard Kennon who was b.1600 in Scotland is not John Cannon's (husband of Esther Pledge) father. and by dates of birth nor are any of Richard Kennon (b. 1600) son Richard Kennon Nor John Jr. of John Samuel Kennon as his birth is past the date of John Cannon husband of Esther Pledge somewhere in 1650's.
Someone has 2 recorded dates of John Cannon and also spelled Canon of 1622 and 1624/1625 these are the same person from what I determined through Christopher Woodward information. This was of course during the Indian massacre, but I do not show on any of the living or death musters this particular John Cannon/Canon. What happened to him, who did he marry? Who were his children? Was he indeed the father of John Cannon b. 1642. All the deed records etc that appear for a John Cannon seem to be in relation to after the birth John Cannon of 1642 from what I can tell and the land counties areas have changed and therefore overlapped in many cases.
