Thank you Rich for that information. I think that the Capen, father of Richard W. Capen, must be related to Philip Capen born about 1771, or his brother Aaron, both being pioneers of Rushford, Allegany, New York, where Caroline lived before her marriage. Those brothers are sons of John Capen and Sarah Riche. Do you have information on Philip, Aaron or their father John? Particularly on Philip's and Aaron's children?
