George Kappers dies Influenza November 1918-Info

The funeral of George Kappers age 17 years son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kappers was held at home of his parents near Lima Center on Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock. with Rev. J.H. Straks of Gibbsville officiating.... he died at the home of his uncle,William Hopeman herewhere he had come about 2 weeks ago to work while the Hopeman family was ill with the Spanish Influenza...and he contracted the disease which proved fatal. Sympathy extened to parents and family.
