Tobias Capper b. Sept 15, 1836 in Illinois
(or Ohio?), died 3-28-1910 in Logan Co., Oklahoma,married Isabelle Lane in 1864 in Mason County ,Illinois (b. 12-12-1836,died 3-14-1915 in Logan County, Oklahoma).
Tobias Capper was a civil war veteran, enlisting in Mason County, Illinois and received a civil war pension in Kansas and Oklahoma.His widow Isabelle Lane Capper received a civil war widow's pension in Logan
County, Oklahoma from 1911 - 1915.
Would like to share Capper family information
with descendants of Tobias Capper family.

Tobias Capper was a brother to my gg grandfather Archibald W. Capper who married
Sarah Ann Schaeffer.Archibald Capper family
was in Gage and Johnston Counties in Nebraska prior to their move to Oregon in late 1880's
or early 1890's.
Archibald Capper's parents were Meredith Capper (b. 1798) and Eliza Carter who were
in the 1850 census in Cass County, Illinois.
Also trying to find more info on the other
siblings of Archibald Capper(and children of Meredith Capper and Eliza Carter).
