Following is the information, including sources, that I have so far for the family of Daniel CARLOCK and Delia GILSON of New York City, NY:


Generation I

Daniel CARLOCK. (probably son of Abraham “Abram” CARLOCK, Jr., and Ann Maria “Annie” RETON.) He was born on 12 Jun 1856 in New York City, NY. He diedBet. 1900–1929. Occupation coach driver, 1880; policeman, 1900. Residence NewYork City, NY, 1880, 1900.

Delia GILSON is the daughter of GILSON and Mary. She was born Abt. 1859 in New YorkCity, NY. Residence in New York City, NY, 1880, 1900.

They were married 1876–1877, probably NY.

Children:

1.       Bernardo "Bernard" F. CARLOCK. He was born on 20 Nov 1876 in New York City, NY. He married Lillian A. WIENECKE. They weremarried Abt. 1904. He died on 29 Nov 1930 in New York City, NY. Occupationin NewYork City firefighter, Dept. Chief Division 4. Died in line of duty when overcome by smoke. Residence New York City, NY, 1880, 1900, 1910.

2.       Mary (E. or H.) CARLOCK. She was born Abt. 1878 in New York City, NY.Residence New York City, NY, 1880, 1900.

3.       Daniel J. CARLOCK. He was born Aug 1883 in NY. Occupation bookkeeper, 1900. Residence Bronx Borough, New York City, NY, 1900.

4.       Estella CARLOCK. She was born May 1891 in NY. Residence Bronx Borough,New York City, NY, 1900.


Generation II

Bernardo "Bernard" F. CARLOCK (Daniel CARLOCK). He was born on 20 Nov 1876 in New York City, NY. He died 29 Nov 1930 in New York City, NY.Occupation New York City firefighter, Dept. Chief Division 4. Died in line of duty when overcome by smoke. Residence New York City, NY, 1880, 1900, 1910.

Lillian A. WIENECKE. She died Bef. 17 Apr 1910.

Bernardo and Lillian were married around 1904.

Children:

1.       Bernice Viola CARLOCK. She was born 06 May 1905 in NY.Residence Bronx Borough, New York City, NY, 1910.

2.       Lillian Anna CARLOCK. She was born on 30 Mar 1907.Lillian does not appear on the 1910 census with her father and sister.

Marie E. PORT.

Bernardo and Marie were married around 1923.

Child:

1.        Bernard Francis CARLOCK (Bernardo "Bernard" F. CARLOCK, Daniel CARLOCK). He was born 15 Jan 1924 in Bronx, Bronx Co., NY. Military service U.S. Navy,WWII. Residence Staten Ridge, Richmond Co., NY; moved to Basking Ridge, Somerset Co.,NJ, ca. 1996. He died in BaskingRidge, Somerset Co., NJ.


Generation III

Bernard Francis CARLOCK (Bernardo "Bernard" F. CARLOCK, Daniel CARLOCK). He was born 15 Jan 1924 in Bronx, Bronx Co., NY. Military service U.S. Navy,WWII. Residence Staten Ridge, Richmond Co., NY; moved to Basking Ridge, Somerset Co.,NJ, ca. 1996. He died in BaskingRidge, Somerset Co., NJ.

Catherine A.. She died before 28 Aug 2002.

Children:

1.        Neal F. CARLOCK. He was born on 22 Jul 1952. He died Jul 1982.Occupation Lt., U.S. Navy.

2.       Edmond B. CARLOCK. Residence in Warren, Somerset Co., NJ, 2002.

3.       Owen T. CARLOCK. Occupation New York City firefighter from Brooklyn'sLadder Co. No. 122, at ground zero when World Trade Center towers fell onSept. 11, 2001. He and his co-workers survived by hiding behind a bank building to avoid the falling debris. Residence Staten Ridge, Richmond Co., NY, 2002.

4.       Brendan CARLOCK. Residence Hazlet, Monmouth Co., NJ, 2002.

5.       Moira C. CARLOCK. Residence Monsey, Rockland Co., NY, 2002.
