Luther Carleton

I'm looking for information on a Luther or L.C. Carleton/Carlton.According to census information he was born sometime between 1806 and 1810 in Massachusetts.I believe he married Polly Wallingsford of Ohio.He died around 1869 in Iowa.If anyone has information about his parentage or where he came from I would appreciate it.Thanks.
