Rachel Carmean Mowery Hook-Mercer Co OH

Rachel M. HOOK was my ggg grandmother. She was born 23 June 1845 in Ohio, died 28 Dec 1920 in Rockford, Mercer Co., Ohio.She married 1862 in Mercer Co. one Abraham MOWERY (my ggg grandfather) of Wabash Twp., Jay Co., Ind.; he died 1869.She remarried 1870 in Mercer Co. one Theodore HOOK/HOOKS/HUCK, and with him, moved to Rockford, Ohio.

According to Rachel's 1920 obit from the Rockford newspaper, she was born 1845 in Chillocothe, Ross County, Ohio, the dau. of Charles and Elizabeth Ann CARMEAN.I have no doubt she is part of the CARMEAN/CREMEAN family of Ross, Pickaway, Fayette, and Allen Co. Ohio.We have been desparately searching for how she fits into this family.

We know that a Rachel (born. 1845) dau. of Curtis CREMEAN dau. of Smith CREMEAN of Allen Co. is NOT our Rachel.Also, we found a Charles CARMEAN son of Jesse son of John of Pickaway County who is also NOT our Charles.Any info and/or clues appreciated!
