Carruth , some how at some point in the past may have been kin. in one of Parish notes in Pa, one of Carruthers/Sproul Decendants, made refferance to a cousin Elizabeth carruth .Carruth /ran the same trails with us Carruthers/Caruthers/Carothers , but so far there has not been a Carruth/Carruthers Union. And we do not reconize it as a Variant. It is possible she is either a Caruthers ,that was shortened , or is a misspelled Carruth.I suspect alot of Carruth's are Carruthers, but until Rutherford - Carruthers - Carruthsit down and study everthing about our surname origin and giving, which are very much alike. It looks like a Caruthers ,
Path of both lines, Pa Cumberland Co.,to rowan/Mecklinburg/Cabarrus Co.'s NC to TN, and Ala., Sc, and Ga., moving westword.
Whom are the alliesto Caruth ?
