Record of Hugh & Janes marriage are containted in the Carruthers famiy history by A.Stanley Carruthers, according to the history Hugh and Jane were married in 1666 Sct,arrived in Pa 1669.
As too the Scott relationships, I strongly sugest looking at the Scott surname project , run by Charlie Scott. The Scott - Carruthers saga is deeper then what all think, and both parties Scott & Carruthers are working on bring all issue's.There are a number of Scott Carruthers unions of that period and down thru the next three generations, and a few up around the 1450 period.
