Hi Jim

Is it possible to get copy of the sheilds you have.
I am a Holmains decendant .I knew there were other variations of the sheilds but hve been able to locate them. Most of us American families are using Simon's sheild. In fact are linage goes back thru Holmains, to Mouswald, to Simon. How correct it is is unknown as we can only work from the records ect we can find.
A good number of Carruthers have been tring to answer the questions through DNA, what is odd we have two differant lines, and a 3rd steming from from one, called a down steam Haplo type. Also the Early American Carruthers that arrived in the America's from 1600 to 1760 are all matching Family. As of date 20 of us Carruthers have DNA tested, the mass being the early American families .
We need more of our Scottish family too test.

I would be greatfull to see these differant Sheilds.
Thank You for time and concideration.
