A Carter born 1790 in Greene County TN just HAS to be of Haplogroup I1, Group 1.You will want to find Clarence C. Carter and/or John Denton Carter. There is a SUGGESTION the father of your John was Caleb 1750 - because his demise was back up in Chanpaign County OH in 1828.
