Cartledge Sources America and Europe.
I am hoping you will join me in a new effort I'm putting forth . To many times we find information all over the web with no source material listed. Or lists of people who siteother people's pages as their source. I feel each of us would benefit greatly if sources were offered. This would help those of you who don't have the benefit of large city library's, or are just getting started in research and want to be sure of your facts by checking out these sources where needed.
With Edmund Cartledge, being married to Mary Need who is listed as one of Americas Plantagenet descendants it is more important then ever to get it right.
I will start below with a book you may or may not be aware of:
Passengers and Ships Prior to 1684 Penn's Colony Vol 1

Also, in this book, for those who are working on Bartram:

On another front: Found on the net for anyone working on the Cartledge's in Europe.

This will take you to the records of the Burslem Parish Register in Staffordshire. Staffordshire is right next door to Derbyshire and may be of some use in filling in our tree.
It lists Cartledge's from 1578 forward.
Hope you find this helpful, and I'm looking forward to see what you have to add.
