Re: Elizabeth Cartwright
How about we all make a rule in this forum topic of the Cartwrights? This rule I suggest is that we do not mention the word "chance" unless it relates to the "Chance" family.
Now, to what brings me to this forum is, by no way, bychance. I am seeking anyone's help who may have had the chance to spend some time seeking information on the Cartwright/Chance family connection.
Now, I have ancestors, with one branch, by chance or not, leading me to the Cartwrights of Kingswinford, Staffordshire.
A Sylvia Cartwright (1803- to 1855) took a chance and married a David Chance (1801 - 1856). Sylvia's father, William Cartwright, married a Sarah ?
So, with that and my new rule as far as not mentioning the word "chance" in any further postings (you have no idea how many web sites have the word chance in it? I didn't know either until I came to google it and the response came back with only 411,000,000. Given that number, I have no chance of perusing them all) by any chance could someone please assist me
