Cason/Martin HELP!?!

I need information on any type of records for James Cason. I believe he was born in North Carolina, he had a sister named Catharine. He married Elisabeth Martin, they had a son named James Hillary Cason. ANY information would be GREAT! From what I can see from census records, for some reason James and Catharine lived with a Great Aunt on their Mothers side, not sure what all that was about.
