My friends are the brothers James R(3a) and Charles D(3b), from whom I received permission to post info here.
Charles has lived in Washington state all his life, but Jim moved back to Tennessee when he was 12, and came back to the Pacific Northwest, with his daughter, a few years ago -- bringing most of the above info with him in his head, including, and I quote "Addie Young had a fair amount of Cherokee in her."
