Re: John Cathcart of Spartanburg,S,C.

Looking for any help to straighten up my Cathcarts.My ancestor is John C. Cathcart m. to Nancy ?b. 1828/7 (Madden, Wright, Cathcart etc.) My John C. had a son John R. b.1863(1880 Census) Richard b. 1875 (1870 Census)and I may be confusing him with Richard Dixon d. 26 Aug 1915.(Stone picture at Find a grave) Would like to fix. Thank you for any help.
