Christopher KETTERING is in my ancestoral line.His son took the KATRON spelling.The Kettenring family book on p 727 says:

2 William Felix CATRON b 20 Jan 1848; d 1931, NM.
3 Mary Elizabeth CATRON b 20 Jan 1850; d 27 May 1920.
4 Thomas Dula CATRON b 4 Jun 1852; d 2 Nov 1919.
5 Chorena Adaline CATRON b 12 Nov 1853.
6 James Christopher CATRON b 4 Jun 1855; d 18 Feb 1919.
7 John Randolph CATRON, Jr b 22 Feb 1857; d 4 Dec 1879, NM.
8 Sarah Sophia CATRON b 22 May 1859; d 28 Aug 1917.
9 Laura Jane CATRON b 18 Feb 1861.
