Re: Catterall & Swarbrick Brewery

I am the archivist of the Poulton-le-Fylde Historical Society and have been researching the history of the Catterall & Swarbrick Queen's Brewery in Poulton and Newton(i.e.up to 1920). I have information on William Catterall and John Swarbrick from census and directory entries and from obituaries and of the formation of the limited company for Newton Springs in 1894 but still do not know the exact details of how they started in Poulton around 1880. If you can give any assistance I would be most grateful.
