Re: Catto or Cato Scotland-Southsea

This may help you, in the British 1881 census there is a William ag: 59& Isabella ag: 59 Catto at Redmyre Croft Banchory Devenick, Kincardine Scotland, both are born in Scotland, William Old Machar, Aberdeen & Isabella Fetteresso, Kincardine.
There is also a Thomas Catto aged 28 born in Scotland in 1881 he is at the "Cavalry Barracks" New Windsor. I am interested in our links with Southsea as my Catto's come from Portsea which is close, but I can't find any link.
