Black Catts of Dallas county Alabama

I am trying to gather Info on my G/GGrand father, his name was Hunter Catts he was a mulatto born in Pleasant Hill, Dallas County, Alabama in 1863. His Mother name was Lucinda
who lived on S.W.Catts plantation.
If anyone can help me trace my Catts family background I would be most thankful
