My ancestor Adam Cauble came from Germany via Pennsylvania to Rowan co., NC during the period 1750-1759.He was a planter.He married Elizabeth ______.He died in Rowan Co., NC in 1804.He had four children:Peter, Adam, Jacob and Eve (Mesomer).My ancestor was Peter Cauble. I was told he owned a plantation on the south fork of Crain Creek in Rowan Co., NC.I don't have his wife's name.His children are listed as:Adam "Pap", Michael and Peter.Adam "Pap" Cauble was my ancestor and he was born around 1772-1774 period.He married Peggy Ernhardt in 1796 or 1797.They moved to Salem, IN in 1810-1813.He ran a mill and died in Salem IN on 9/3/1858 at his daughter Camille's home.I believe I am related to your Peter Cauble.
