Jennifer, the names you mentioned do not ring a bell, however, that doesn't mean much. I do not have much information on our Chalkley side. My wife was a Chalkley and that is how I am connected.
This is what I know: My wife's grandfather was raised in Fayette Co Ga and moved to Griffin, Ga. His name was King Lemuel Chalkely, was married to Nettie Barfield. My wife's father's name was Lynwood Russell. He had two brotheres and one sister. There a number of cousins and distant relatives in the Griffin area. There are a number of Chalkleys buried in cemetaries in Fayette County.
There was a J.E. Chalkley and a Sneed Chalkley in Spalding Co. for the 1860 census. I haven't connected all the dots yet.
