There is no Casey Ellis in Alabama in 1930.
There is no Inez Ellis born close to 1920 in the S.E. Part of Alabama in 1930.
Could there be any family nick-names these girls may have been called by?..
Here are the few I see in the 1930 censuses:
Inez EllisPrecinct 20, Jefferson, AL b. abt 1912Georgia
Inez EllisBirmingham, Jefferson, AL b. abt 1917(Unknown)
Inez EllisPanama City, Bay, FL b. abt 1923(Parent,Ethel)
Inez Ellis District 12, De Kalb, TN b. abt 1920(Parent, Thomas R)
There are more "Inez Ellis's", born between the late 1800s to about 1927, all over the US.
I suspect she had a unique family name she would have been known as by the family, and given to the census taker.
Also, there were no Paul Chancy/Chancey enumerated in 1930 Alabama. Again, family nick-names were used for such as this, and it does make it difficult to trace by census.
