William had children by his first wife, whose name is unknown by me, four of whom were: Lucy b. Abt. 1841; William Charnley b. Abt 1843; James Charnley b. Abt. 1844; and, Charles Charnley b. Abt. 1846.
Fanny Crafts first married Samuel W. Andrew, Esq. on 4 Jan 1848, and had a son by the name of Samuel W. Andrew who was born in April 1849.Her husband, Samuel Andrew, died either prior to the birth of Samuel, Jr. or when Samuel, Jr. was only a few months old.Fannie almost immediately married William S. Charnley who raised Samuel W. Andrew, Jr.
