Charters family, Co. Durham, England

I am researching the family of John William Charters who married Mary(Polly) Best. John Wm. was reg. 11 04 1870 at Tanfield, Co.Durham, England. Parents were John Charters, who according to census was born in Liverpool and Agnes Kirkland. John was married a second time to an Emma, with whom he had several more children. I would be pleased to hear from anyone with an interest in this family.
