Alexander Charters of Tuckersmith, brother of Eliza, Robert, William Candlish, Margaret and George,married Bridget Manley of Ireland in 1867, Cuyahoga County Ohio.He was a Saloon and Hotelkeeper.They had four known children:William, George A, James, and Mary (1870/1880 Census.)They were confectioners in Cleveland at 1900 Census.Sons William and George went to Los Angeles in the 1910's and were involved in Fruit Auction Market there.Both lived in Hancock Park.
