Nah!I've already spent a lot of my valuable time fooling with the likes of them.I think the courts are going to keep them busy for awhile, or so I understand. I have better things to do.I am not renewing with Ancestry.com.
I understand that many others are not renewing also.
As you likely know, My Family.com and many others are owned by the same people. From now on, I will do my research from Archives and other records that are dependable. These people appear to be only out to make money and are allowing people to put just anything on the internet.Beginners do not know that, so consequently they have more incorrect information than they do correct information. You have perhaps noticed that there are no "sources" listed for all the data people are placing on the internet like it is "fact".I do enjoy exchanging information on the free spots with relatives, but of course we all need to check information out for ourselves. My only purpose for placing the first email about privacy on the sites was for those who may not realize what is going on, until it is too late.
They may end up buying what they placed themselves, eh?
Best regards,
Lib
