Edward J. Chase 2/18/1849 SLC, UT

I am trying to find any information at all on my great grandfather Edward J. Chase who was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 2-18-1849. He married Clara Adoline Starr on 4-29-1874....I believe in Oregon, tho I am not sure about this.They had two children that I know of.Mary Edna Chase born 9-1-1877; and Arthur Blaine Chase born 3-26-1884.Both children were born in Oregon.Would anyone have any info on this man at all and his ancestors at all?
