Common Chastain ancestry

Hi Joy.I too descend from William and Annie Motes Chastain. I descend from their son Thomas Jefferson Chastain who died at the Battle of Gains Mill near Richmond VA., during the Civil War. I have a picture of him if your interested. Would love to chat with you more on this family. Especially interested in what you know about Hogeny Motes- Anne's father.
