I know who you are as when my Grandmother Grace Pearl Chastain passed away my Aunt Helen Naragan passed family records on to my dad Harold Wagner and Your family is named in those records. I was out there in Indiana lastsummer with three of my youngest children. I am very sorry I did not get the chance to meet you. I have a lot of imformation but it has missing pieces. For Grand-ma Mary Wilson- Have you tried looking under the name Nail- look up the relatives in the Bonds family and thornton families. They are connected to us but I am not sure how. I was told that Mary Wilsons mother was Priscilla Folsom but I cant find a Priscilla Folsom. I have a marraige license for Mary Wilson to William Shasteen. Mary E. Chastain records under her roll # Lists her as the niece of William Shasteen and her parents as white their last names were Fields and McGhee. She received her money from her Grand Mother but who is unnamed and the money came from Fort Gibson but it doesn't say what it was for. William Shasteen was disenrolled from the Cherokee nation because he either relocated or passed away. This can be appealed. However, when I contacted enrollment they did not send the records and or call me back. We had a cousin who was enrolled with the choctows. His name was Jeremiah Chastain. He was enrolled through his wife. This to can be challanged I just am at a dead end with no time presently. I have a lot more imformation on our family. But right now I need to go.
