Thanks for responding.Yes, I contacted the Pierre Chastain Family Ass'n. Inc. some time ago.Lowell B. Chastain gave me some information and recommended the book "Descendants of James P. COCKE and M. M. (CHASTAIN) COCKE.I checked this book and followed up on the recommendations they gave me.I also corresponded with Geraldine Buland and followed up on her suggestions.Again, nothing fit.

Although the first names of CHASTAIN and ISHAM were used as first names both in the James P. COCKE line and mine, I could find no connection to my George COX or his wf. Patsy.It would have to have been in the children of James and & Martha COCKE.
