Chisholms in Canada

William Chisholm b1815 Fodderty, Scotland, son of Alexander Chisholm and Margaret Mackenzie, married Isabella McDonald in 1851 in Scotland. They traveled via America to Canada. We know William and Isabella Chisholm were in America c1855-6and William's brother Colin (b1830) was with them. Colin was apparently married in William's house c1856 and later lived in Canada.
William and Isabella had the following children possibly all born in Ontario: Alexander b1852 (maybe born in Scotland?), John b1855 (married Annie Irwin McClure), Margaret J b1859 (married William Wight), William b1861 (2nd marriage Jean Robertson 1909) and Isabella b1863 (married JA Ganton). Places such as Bruce,Owen Sound, Eastnor, Grey and York have been found to be associated with these Chisholms. I would love to hear from anyone who can add more information.
