Which Lee Church are you speaking about.There are several. My Great Grandfather was one of them, Leonidas Church -- born MS in 1850, orphaned just prior to the Civil War, spend much of the Civil War with an uncle in NYC, spent a few years ~ 1866 - 1879 in the Memphis area with his sister's family, and moved to Texas around 1880.Other family names from that era are Pease, Carroll, and Wiggs.
