Hi, Carol!I am related to Mary (Craigie) Cinnamon. She was my gggrandfather's sister. Therefore, I am primarily interested in her children with John Cinnamon.Since I posted my first message, I have located 1881 and 1891 Quebec census records that indicate that John and Mary had 3 children:namely, William John (born about 1870), Annie (born about 1874) and Norah (born about 1876).In the 1881 census, "Norah" is listed as "Magey Eldora", so I really don't know her correct given name(s).Also, their surname was shown as "SANEMAN", which I attribute to the enumerator being French-Canadian.
You also indicate that your mother-in-law, Alberta Cinnamon, visited her Canadian cousins in 1910 or so.Would you know where in Canada exactly?BTW, the 1881 census record that I have had another Cinnamon (Saneman!!) family on it, James (age 50) and Jane (age 30), but that's where my photocopy ends. If the rest of that family would be of any interest to you, I can get a photocopy of it the next time I'm at the University of Manitoba.Let me know!
You also indicate that Loretta Grochowich in BC provided you with the information on John Cinnamon's family. Is there any chance I can get in touch with her?If you wish, you can e-mail me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
