François Clair to Pennsylvania in 1900

Jean Clair of Tarbres, France is currently in Baton Rouge, LA with a France-Louisiane group.We met last night at a local dinner for the visitors.He recalls being told that a great or great, great uncle named François came to Pennsylvania in or around 1900 and would like to discover where his descendants are.Any information would be appreciated.I have Mr. and Mrs. Clair's address in France and will be in contact with them if information comes in after they leave.One of François'children was named Pierre.
